Liberty Pack 374

Who Are We?

We are parents with young boys who believe in the values and objectives of the cub-scout program. Our pack’s mission is to provide a quality scouting program that encourages both parent and boy participation and that accomplishes the objectives of the BSA cub scout program: character development, spiritual growth, citizenship, sportsmanship & fitness, family, respect, personal achievement, service, fun & adventure, and preparation for Boy Scouts.

Our pack is operated by a group of parents that make up the pack’s committee, cub-master, and den leaders. Every parent is encouraged to participate in some manner, whether serving in an official role with the committee or as a leader, or through participation in the planning and execution of our program. Parents make our pack great and allows our pack to deliver a great program for the boys.

Our pack averages between 50 and 100 cub scouts which are divided by age into more than five dens.

Heart of America Council

We belong to the Heart of America Council which serves counties in Missouri and Kansas. The council provides the overall structure for the scout program in our area including camping, training, fund-raising opportunities, and much more.

Our Chartering Organization

The Boy Scouts of America makes Scouting available to our nation’s youth by chartering community organizations to organize and operate Cub Scout packs, and other scouting units. Chartered organizations provide a meeting place and general oversight of the management and control of the program of activities to support the unit’s goals and objectives.

Our pack’s chartered organization is the First Presbyterian Church of Liberty Missouri. Click here for more information about the church.
